Himpath began in 2015 with a simple idea — that a Himalayan yatra should be handled by people who grew up around these mountains. Our founders were born in the villages around Ukhimath, walked to Kedarnath as children, and learned every ridge, stream and shortcut on the Panch Kedar circuit.
Today we're a small, tight team of certified trek guides, drivers, porters and hosts — all from the Kedar valley. We keep our groups small, our food warm, our stays honest, and our pricing straightforward.
We believe the Himalayas are not a checklist. They're an experience that changes you. We simply help you get there safely, and back home fuller than when you left.

Jaspal Panwar is the founder of Himpath Trek Guides & Travels — born and raised in the villages around Ukhimath, the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath. The mountains have been his classroom, his temple and his office for as long as he can remember.
He grew up walking the trails to Kedarnath, Madhyamaheshwar and Tungnath long before they were popular. Over the last decade he has personally led hundreds of yatras across the Panch Kedar, Char Dham and the high-altitude treks of Chandrashila, Rudranath and Kalpeshwar — earning a reputation for calm leadership, deep local knowledge and honest hospitality.
A certified trek guide with wilderness first-aid training, Jaspal handpicks every driver, porter and homestay host on our team — most of them are neighbours from the Kedar valley. He personally plans each itinerary, receives guests at the roadhead, and is on the phone at every altitude gain to make sure his pilgrims are safe, warm and well-fed.
